Drum Drier - Swiss Combi rotary drum dryer in stainless steel. Believed to have been built 1998 or 1999. This is a single pass drum with an internal working diameter of 2.80 metres and an overall length of 10.00 metres. The drum is lagged and clad and comes with a set of 4 No trunnions each with a geared drive unit. The main fan is lagged and clad and comes with a 90kw motor and vee belt drive. It has a motorised multi vane type air control valve on the inlet and will deliver up to 51,050 M3/hr of air at 451 pa. There is a second lagged and clad fan with a smaller drive that will deliver up to 9,350 M3/hr of air at 189 pa. The drum comes with a refractory lined furnace mounted within a steel frame to aid transport and lifting. It has a dual gas/oil burner and control box. There is a large air to air heat exchanger that fits between the furnace and the drying drum. This unit is lagged and enclosed within a lifting frame. It has an extraction fan mounted on the outlet end. Price - £200,000.
